The City of Dallas Supervisor is responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and processing all temporary employee weekly time cards. He/she will perform pre & post orientation tasks and ensure the timely and accurate submission of the on-site supervisor’s daily reports for this account.

  • Minimum of 2 years related business experience
  • Computer literacy with emphasis on MS Excel
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Understands how to calculate time in the quarter and 100 minute clock system
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Good planning and organizational skills necessary to achieve business goals
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary


  • Verify and correct timecards using appropriate reports
  • Print weekly payroll
  • Interact with on-site supervisors to obtain missing hours and hour verification as necessary
  • Enter, update, and suspend temporary employees
  • Maintain check sign-off sheets
  • Track all interested applicants
  • Process pre-placement screenings for temporary employees per contract specifications, as well as local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Enter approved applicants into system
  • Maintain filing systems for applications, reports and background checks
  • Document the issuing, replacement and return on all PPE
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Coordinate with on-site supervisors and Billing Manager to ensure payroll related issues are performed and corrected timely and accurately
  • Hold the on-site supervisors accountable for submitting all reports as required
  • Submit weekly pay increase forms for approval per the City of Dallas attendance policy
  • Maintain an attendance tracker for reporting of absences and tardiness.
