The operations manager position is responsible for managing day-to-day activities associated with the successful operations and safety programs of the company through its various branch locations. The Operations Manager relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Develops and implements auditing procedures to analyze the current system of production.  Develops strategies and solutions for continuous improvement using a wide degree of creativity and latitude.  Reinforces procedures, procedural changes and ensures consistent communication is delivered and received. Cultivates and maintains customer relationships to support business development and customer retention.

Education / Licensing Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or other related fields

Other business-related courses will be advantageous

Experience Requirements:

Four+ years in management experience in the same or similar industry

Strong, proven Operations understanding and experience required

Successful on-site management experience of various locations required



  • Ensure Branches fill orders with qualified candidates
  • Keep close communication between Branch Staff, Regional Business Development Managers, and Customers
  • Communicate and coordinate the various aspects of Branch operations required to ensure compliance with the established Systems, Procedures, and Policies
  • Develop leads throughout the community in order to increase Branch applicant volume to a minimum of 15 applications per day
  • Become an expert on the Operations Manual, Temps and Staffing Plus
  • Coordinate between all department heads to solve operational issues that arise within the company
  • Keep up with relevant industry standards and technical developments
  • Monitor Operations Support Staff to ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Communicate the importance of employee safety on assignments


  • Recruit, interview, and hire
  • Take appropriate steps to correct problems within limits of empowerment
  • Prepare operational reports conducive to the effective management of staff and administer any disciplinary warnings or employee behavior corrections

Personnel Development:

  • Convey element of trust across team players at every level
  • Convey annual company goals to staff
  • Coach, mentor, and train staff
  • Champion company’s culture and reliance on operational System, Procedures, and Policies

Direct Strategic-level support to CEO:

  • Shares and instills the company’s culture
  • Internalizes and displays through action and word the company’s Vision and Mission in all endeavors
  • Incorporates the company’s Core Values of People, Integrity, and Service with all internal and external customers
  • Prepares operational reports for senior management to assess the department’s effectiveness/performance
  • Develop a tracking system to achieve and support annual company goals
  • Prepares and develops projects as directed by CEO
  • Attends all mandatory management meetings
