The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing time cards for our temporary employees. You will need to have an eye for detail and able to stay focused on heavy data entry in order to generate payroll error free. You will work with a supervisor who will bend over backwards to ensure you have the tools you need to accomplish your job and your colleagues will be warm and welcoming.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative

  • Verify hours on all time cards
  • Enter hours for time cards received
  • Print checks
  • Interact with customers to obtain missing hours and verify hours
  • Close out employees not returning to the job site
  • Put together payroll that gets delivered
  • Collect sign off sheets for payroll delivered
  • Report preparation
  • Research and resolve employee check problems in accordance with company policy
  • Perform other related duties as requested

Supervisory:
• Coordinate with operations to ensure payroll related issues are performed timely and accurately

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years related business experience
  • Strong organizational, communication , and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Good planning and organizational skills necessary to achieve business goals
  • Computer Literacy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Understands how to calculate time in the quarter and 100 minute clock system
