The Regional Business Development Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and managing an outdoor sales team.

Location: Houston and Dallas

Compensation: Salary

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7am-4pm

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years related business experience with strong emphasis on sales and supervision
  • Valid driver license
  • Reliable motor vehicle with current insurance coverage
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong leadership, managerial, organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to perform business development and internal sales activities
  • Good planning and organizational skills necessary to achieve business goals and to increase office efficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to maintain effectiveness during change
  • Ability to work flexible/extended hours when necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain business relations and consistent communication with established clients to ensure successful business development
  • Assist with the cold calling training process for new Marketing Representatives
  • Increase revenue of existing accounts through outside sales activities and telemarketing
  • Attend networking group meeting events and establish face-to-face relations with all pre-existing clients
  • Participate in local professional, business, and civic organizations to enhance personal development and to promote company recognition
  • Identify new business opportunities with assigned accounts
  • Establish contact with provided inactive accounts to create new business opportunities
  • Map out routes to service assigned accounts daily while effectively servicing each branch area
  • Efficiently manage relationships with all assigned accounts
  • Addressing all issues related to temporary employees, managers, superintendents, and sales manager in a timely manner while being respectful and compatible to the client’s specific culture
  • Coach and mentor all existing Account Managers and Marketing Representatives as well as new hires in order to develop them into successful Account Managers and Marketing Representatives
  • Other duties as assigned

ADMINSTRITIVE DUTIES:

  • Administration tasks to be completed accurately and on time include but not limited to: Call Reports, Expense Reports, Credit Applications and Customer Agreements.
  • Assist in collections as needed
  • Take appropriate steps to correct problems within limits of empowerment
  • Keep abreast of any changes with your competition that may affect operating procedures and strategy
  • Attend all mandatory sales meetings and generate weekly reports to the sales team as required
  • Monitor Salesforce
  • Assist Safety Claims Coordinator with employee injury claims
